Thermal sliding windows
A thermal sliding window opens by horizontal glide and combines a thermal-break profile with insulating glass.

A thermal sliding window opens by horizontal glide and combines a thermal-break profile with insulating glass. It limits heat and noise transfer while freeing up the opening space, making it ideal for living rooms, kitchens and terraces.
How it works
The sashes glide on rails built into the bottom rail. The thermal-break profile separates the inner and outer walls of the frame with an insulating strip, and double glazing reduces heat loss. At Bazzary Travaux this corresponds in particular to the Strugal 88RP series.
Why choose sliding?
Sliding needs no swing clearance: perfect when space is tight or when a blind, furniture or terrace sits in front of the window. Slim frames maximise the glazed area and therefore natural light.

Frequently asked questions
A sliding window glides on a rail and needs no opening space; a casement pivots and generally gives a full opening and high airtightness. The best choice depends on available space and room use.
Combine a thermal-break profile and double glazing suited to the exposure (laminated, tinted or solar-control as needed), and ensure careful installation with sealing gaskets. A roller shutter or blind completes the protection.
